I don't understand your problem. How can you lag if you aren't online in the game?

It could be the actual game or it could be your nintendo DS. Try your game on a friend's DS to see if you get the same results.

I lent some little brat the game and she freaking well erased all of my data and started fresh. So I'm not bothered about it and I've let her lend it for way over a month. Can't really help you, but I remember on my old standard DS (I have a Lite now) it was making a lot of weird noises from the speakers once.

yeah yeah, weird noises...just didnt sound quite right. and yeah it lagged w/o being multiplayer - odd. ill try that, using a friend's DS. thankyou all
