Atari games on GBA - why can't i save my scores!?!

my 3 in 1 GameboyAdvance game including centipede, breakout, and warlords, doesn't actually save my hi-scores. what's the point in entering my initials then??? BTW, im playing it on my DS lite, does that matter? (it shouldnt cos i can save other GBA games i play on my DS)

In the old days you never saved anything when you played a video game. Most repetitive games, like the ones you're playing, only save your scores while the power is on, and once you turn off the game they are reset.

If you don't want to lose your high scores then don't turn off your GBA.
