What do you think of it these days?

I'm not sure. I recently started using MSN a lot more again after barely using it for ages. But I find it weird. Like after a couple of conversations I never talk to some people again x_x Or if I talk to them I feel like I'm talking to them too much!

I talk to lots of cool people on LastFM and some I wanted to chat to on MSN but then its like we never talk on there cos...I dunno. I guess it's easier to talk with things like shoutboxes or journals and stuff. You're just commenting so it's not like "hi, how are you?" which I still always seem to start IMing convos with even though I know it sucks >_<

Or then when you get chatting with people a lot it's like, if I go online and they're on should I say hi first? Or should they because they are already there?

And then there's the thing where you sign on with your old email and see someone on your current list has blocked you..do you ask them why, or just forget about it? How paranoid should you get over MSN? xD

Sometimes I like to have MSN on at work when I'm on my own just cos it kinda feels like people are "around". xD And sometimes you can end up having random funny conversations but... I dunno. At one time I thought Id keep IMing to real life friends who I didn't talk to enough to stay in touch but..I gave in and started talking to random people again. But yeah... it can just be...weird. Or something.

No they're not I've seen them and I've met one soooo! I only have like 10 people on my MSN. xD I'm picky!

I haven't used MSN since I first had dialup back in 2002. o_o

I just use AIM. Yahoo Messenger's only really around for voice chats. I only talk to a few people regularly anymore, and it's usually when I'm on my work screen name.

Instant messaging is great. I know someone very well for the past two years due to it, and can keep in contact with friends & family when they leave or go abroad..

I have mostly people from #eoff on my MSN contact list.

Nethertheless I dont actually use it much, and mainly just leave it signed in incase someone wants to contact me about something..which they never do xD

I don't use IM programs anymore. Communicating via text is for suckers.

I use AIM. I don't really talk to people all that much. People are welcome to IM me if they want to.

I use AIM all the time. I don't mind starting off talking about moods and days. Since that occasionally can start up a conversation. I have a lot of people on my list and talk to them daily. I love using it, I feel I can keep in touch with people easier.

I don't randomly IM people though, I tend to meet them on forums, and talk through PM for a while before bringing it up. Then we sometimes have fun racing to see who can start the conversation first when we're both logged on. Silly amusement.

I've never been blocked before, at least not knowingly. So I don't know, I'd probably inquire as to why.

Which is why the only time we ever have a conversation is when someone invites us both into a multi-conversation
