Funniest thing a parent of yours has said.

My mom argued with my saying that there were 8 days in a week when she was studying Chemistry. She referred to the famous Beatles song, and also tried backing it up with the argument that since compounds need 8 valence electrons to be stable, a week needs 8 days to be stable. 7 days would make a week unstable.

Technically she isn't wrong, the week is a man made construction there are Cycles which we call days but no weeks or even really no years they are just phases of the earths orbit we gave them names, the roman empire for example had a ten day week but it was the babylonians that gave us the seven day week.

You know thats quite funny for anyone but you but since it was you then that is actually the most screwed up thing here.

As for my mom (since my dad is dead) she sometimes comes out with funny things but always at my expense never at anyone elses so everyone gets to laugh but me.
