    They are all over the place, LOL No, seriously, it's true - you can find them all over Ivalice (well, all over the part of Ivalice that you can explore in FF XII....)

    Here are the details; obviously, (SPOILER):rolleyes2

    -CuChulainn is found in the Garamsythe Waterway, under the Royal City of Rabnastre. In theory, you can access it pretty early in the game, but the way to get to it and actually beating it is pretty tough;

    -Zalera is found in the Barheim Passage that you explore also early in the game - however, you won't find it right away, you'll need to come back after clearing a subquest;

    -Same comments about Exdeath in the Mosphoran Highwaste, Zeromus in the Stilshrine of Myriam and Ultima in Crystale Grande (btw, it's not for nothing that she's called "Ultima" getting to her and defeating her is HARD): those are all places you'll visit at one point during the story, but you need to complete other stuff before coming back and going after them;

    -Then you also have the "secret" summons that are located in places completely optional: those are Adrammelech in the Zertinan Caverns and Chaos in the Necrohol of Nabudis;

    -Finally, there's the 13th summon, Zodiac, but you need to get 10 summons and complete a specific mob hunt before it becomes available in the Henne Mines

    ^And it's better to leave them alone until you are strong enough (LV50), (SPOILER)I suggest that you train until your level is 75-80 because Ultima and Zodiac = HELL

    There are secret summon.

    No, you must take (SPOILER)Velias, Mattheus, Shumihaza, Hashmalim and Famfrit. No Matter What. There's no way to avoid them.

    Yeah, summons are great and all, but I read that in boss battles, summons are really useless now. Which hurts ol Skarr. Plus I believe Ifirt is awall in this game as well.

    Yes, very useless. (SPOILER)Only the summoner gain LP and EXP, most boss gives yummy LP, so you don't want your party to miss that.But this make a good levelling up trick (EXP is divided equally to party).

    I thought you were going to say Iflirt. But Ifrit is not a summon. However, (SPOILER)Ifrit is an airship!

    Espers are in specific locations: some are "sacred places", some are not. Part of the espers you'll get following the main story, but most of the really powerful ones are actually sidequests. For each of them, you need to defeat them before they appear as a square on the license board. Once one of your character has acquired the license to summon it, it disappears from the others' license board (i.e. only one character can acquire a given summon).

    The espers that you can get through sidequests are sometimes a little difficult to find, especially since you'll almost always need to solve another sidequest before being able to access the place where they are located. Or they'll be located in a place you will never have to visit during the course of the main story....

    If you want a list with locations, just check my previous post on this thread
