    He-Man versus Lion-O

The 1980s will forever be infamous for the creation of two of the most homoerotic heroes of all time. First, there was He-Man, who could defeat evil with his perfectly sculpted blond hair and ravishing good looks. And then came Lion-O of the Thundercats, a hairy hulk whose mighty sword grew as he yelled "Thunder! Thunder! Thundercats, HOOOOOO!" And the cat man was no slacker in the "suspiciously sculpted body" department, either. But which one of these two characters was just so flamboyant, so obviously over the top, you just couldn't help but giggle every time his show came on?

Discuss! Or just talk about the effect of these shows on your childhood. They are classics, after all.

He-Man. After all, he is the strongest man in the universe. Lion-O's just the strongest, erm, cat-type thing.

He-Man is the only one I am familiar with. Plus, He-Man kind of reminds me of Maxx Power. I don't know why.

Ironically I would have to prefer He-Man.

Lion-o, he had fur all over, while He-man just had furry underwear.

I idolized both of them during childhood. I guess that's part of the reason I like strong men in addition to liking beautiful women...

I would have to say He-Man takes the gay cake, though. That nicely shaped blonde do he sported just shoutsed boy on boy action.

Definatly He-Man. I don't really recall the other one, but I remember watching He-Man all the time as a kid. It was my favorite cartoon untill I discovered Transformers.
