u may jus be mistaking them, as the yellow and gold do look a lot alike. the gold one has a slightly darker yellow for the feathers and his legs are more orange than brown

i tried both ways round (black first and wonderful first) and checked which i'd got by riding and i got it right after that last post (so 5 resets)
what are the highest stats for the best golden chocobo?
I mated a lot and my highest was 147km/h, 999 stamina.
I heard others which catch a 160km/h.
I always raced EVERY chocobo I had to S class and let them win 10 times in a row, before mating.
I fed EVERY chocobo 99 of the best greens before mating them.
The male chocobo's are always the fastest.
How can I obtain the best chocobo regarding to stats etc.?

The highest stats you can achieve are 176km/h and 999 stamina. The best way to increase stats other than feeding 99 Sylkis Greens is to breed and hope the offspring has higher stats then the parents.

i know how it workswithin the details. But i NEVER EVER get a chocobo as good as you say. I even once tried to mate, and when i did not get better stats as the parent, then i resetted it, and tried again.
This for like 12 hours....

besides, that link of yours, is extremely cool, but it is only the math behind the chocobo thingy, not the explaination about how to obtain the best chocobo itself

That's because there is no method. It's just chance, as the maths explains.

what stats does that chocobo have? I presume, the chocobo obtained from ruby weapon will not be the best of the best golden chocobo...

The Gold you get from the Kalm Traveller has pretty bad racing stats, but it can access all the materia caves and such.
