Chocobo Breeding help
ok, im trying to breed a gold chocobo, but i was wondering, the first step is to breed to great or good chocobos, but is it alright to use the same 2 chocobos for making the river and the mountain chocobo???
like for ex.
Victoria and Chase mate and have a Mountain Chocobo, but can Victoria and Chase mate again and have aRiver Chocobo? or do i have to get 2 more chocobos and breed them?

No, after you fight a number of battles they will be ready to breed again, and if you manage to get a river chocobo of a different gender to your mountain, they can breed to create a black chocobo once they mature. Obviously Choco-incest isn't illegal.
so.... how many battles do i have to fight before Vicoria and CHase (seriously that is their names) before they can breed again??
I think its around 5-10, but don't quote me on that. You can either fight easy battles around the chocobo ranch and get them over with, or go to the underwater plane and get some training in. If you're that far in the game.

Great + Great + Carob Nut + combined total of 4 race wins = 50% Blue, 50% Green
Blue + Green + Carob Nut + combined total of 9 race wins = 100% Black
Black + Wonderful + Zeio Nut + combined total of 12 race wins = 100% Gold
3-10 battles for parents to mate again
3-18 battles for newborns to mature

No, I mean Great + Great. Any combination of Good and Great will work, but Greats tend to have better stats.
I need a Carob Nut where can i get one from without going to the GS and paying 500 gp for them?
