My ex girlfriend changed the password on my old AIM name and somehow got my password at FFL and did quite a few malicious things there.

Have you ever been careless and given your MSN password out to people, only for them to 'hack' into your account and play havoc?

    Please discuss.
If you give someone your password, it's not really hacking.
Yes, that's why I put the word 'hack' in single inverted commas.

I learned internet paranoia on Neopets, where people hand over their passwords all the time (any site that has the word 'password' on their swear filter has problems). I have never had that happen to me anywhere.

I've never had any problems, though some of my passwords are laughably easy. Maybe I should change them.

    Signature by rubah. I think.

you know so far strider and me are the only two to be victims of actual crimes of hacking, did they get the guy and return the cash strider or do you not know? The hacker who hacked me was arrested and banned from computers for 5 years plus made to pay a severe fine.

I don't think my e-mail has ever been hacked... and I'm not dumb enough to give out my password.

I don't think I have. Even if someone did they didn't do anything that bad or noticeable.

Nah, it blocks p@$$w0rd as well. People actually went round asking other people for passwords. Scams were the norm.
