I'm pretty sure you have to ride that circular elevator. There should be one right in front of the wall, just click the action button right next to it. I could be wrong though, haven't played that part in years.

I suggest you read the FAQ/Walkthroughs?Because...I'm not entirely sure where are you and I've not playing it for years...
