I agree with you here. I knew this guy who wanted to play FF games, but he only had a PS2 memory card, so he could only borrow FFX from me. So I let him borrow it, and he thought it was pretty good. Then I said, "Well, man, you gotta try FFVII. Seriously."
But he got so bored with it. He'd be playing, and I'd be watching and helping out, but he'd just stop. He'd be at a part where there was dialogue which means READING since they don't have voices on FF7. And he'd just stop pushing Circle. He would just sit there on the same text box for about 10 minutes because he wasn't interested in reading this stuff.
I think they should remake FF7, in some form, but I think it would be REALLY tough to stay true to the original masterpiece. I mean, FF7 was an excellent game, and if you change something that's already excellent, you're likely to make it less excellent.
it is a bit silly but i whould buy it it whould be hilaraty but a bit anoying.it also depends on if it was ff7 just lego or if they changed the story coz it whould be a bit boring playin it again. but they could totaly muck it up and make it terible:p
cloud....My idol
the graphics on the original ff7 already look like legos they dont need to make a "lego" ff7 lol
You mean it FF7 isn't lego animation?
First frelling off, a Lego Final Fantasy 7 would be in the same 'open area' style of Final Fantasies 11 & 12.
Second, yes, the abilities may be connected to the various 'parts' of the characters. Or rather.. the ability to learn a ability could be connected to a 'part' or 'parts', possibly a 'la Materia.
Oh.. and materia would be little lego pieces you put on 'connection points'* on the weapon or connected to eachother to a single point. (Like say... a single 'connection point'* on the end of a sword's hilt.
So really, kinda fun to discuss theoritical games. A regular Lego Final Fantasy (disconnected from previous games, perhaps it's own series) would be much more fun (IMO) than the billboard for a bloated corporation called Kingdom Hearts.
(* those nubs you connect a flat lego small piece to.)

Has excellent properties still;
There's none of it bland,
Still top-dollar, and
Has vacancies I'd love to fill
So guys, how about them FF7 graphics? LOL!
I made a vincent in cryogenics from when he was a turk![]()
Great idea, but I think it would be smarter to make a Lego FFI and see how that goes.
Currently Playing: Final Fantasy IX
Was this supposed to include the two extra legos attached at her torso?
LEGO Final Fantasy would rock. I can't believe you're only saying VII. HELLO? Star Wars was made up of all three episodes in each trilogy. Surely, the guys behind the LEGO game can put together composites like Origins, Chronicles, or Anthology. The only thing Squenix needs concern itself with is paperwork. The guys who were behind LEGO Star Wars can do all the heavy lifting.
Jack: How do you know?
Will: It's more of a feeling really.
Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?
Will: No.
If Demolition Man were remade today
Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
Huxley: NO!
Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
Spartan: But Huxley.
Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.
By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

Actually, the reason I thought of 7 was because my friend and I were playing Lego Star Wars, and the only FF game that he really likes is FF7, so he said to me, "Dude, Square needs to make Lego FF7", and I agreed. Then I came home and made a thread about it, not even thinking about the fact that I love a great number of FF games.
