How many of you are going to download IE7?

I have made the decision to try and do so, however much it may hurt my soul, because I need to sacrifice myself for the betterment of the masses; I cannot preach against the monster until I have personally tasted the sweetness of the cup it proffers me, gaping out of the abyss, reaching a tentacle in mock friendship, to pull me under and drown me in the world I swore off two years ago.

I must do this so that it may not happen to the masses.

Do you think you are strong enough to withstand it? Do you dare?

I would, but I don’t think it is compatible with Windows 2000.

I don't know if I will as I'm still using SP1 and I guess I would have to go to SP2 with IE7.

Besides, I 99.9% of the time don't use IE while at home.

I will never use IE again until Microsoft unties it from Windows and stops using ActiveX. I don't care if they now have tabs and it's more secure. As long as it's tied to your OS that's a huge security risk.

I'm content with Firefox as it is. I always found IE to be more of a hassle to use anyway.

If I read somewhere that it is somehow far superior to Firefox, I wouldn't mind giving it a try, but right now I can't think of anything I really want in a browser that Firefox doesn't already give me. I've been told that Opera is better in some ways, but the features I've read about didn't sound like anything I'd care about enough to switch over.

I don't see the point in downloading an upgrade to a browser I don't use when I'm perfectly comfortable and very content with the browser I do use, which is currently set up for all my needs.

    My thoughts exactly.

Who wants to use something that is so very much tied to your OS? Something you cannot fully remove?

That scares the out of me.

I've tried the Beta version, and I don't like it.

Firefox is still the browser for me, thanks.
