The same happened to me! When I played, Cloud was shot in the head during the motorcycle part. Fortunately I had gone to the Armor shop and bought sunglasses to protect his head. I couldn't afford a proper helmet, but at least that saved him. I also lost against (SPOILER)Yazoo and Loz after defeating (SPOILER)Sephiroth, and while I could have used the Super Phoenix Down item to revive (SPOILER)Aeris when she came to talk to Cloud after that, I had to use it on Cloud instead, to (SPOILER)make him return to the church. That's why I couldn't get the Perfect Ending, so (SPOILER)Aeris just left together with Zack instead of returning to Cloud. This game definitely wasn't easy.Originally Posted by vorpal blade
