Bully

I'm a few hours into the game, and its pretty interesting. The dialogue is hilarious, and it makes fun of pretty much every aspect of high school you can think of. I wouldn't characterize Jimmy as a bully though--he's more of a regular guy forced into a situation where he has to defend himself (i.e. his mother marries an old rich guy and leaves him in the boarding-school-from-hell so she can go on a year-long honeymoon).

I heard that originally the game was meant to have the player take up a bully's position, but as soon as the polticians started labeling it a "Columbine Simulator" they were forced to change that to a character who is forced into defending himself from bullies. That's why he isn't a bully.

After about ten minutes I already really liked his character. Well, still in the prologue so I don't have a very clear impression of the game yet, but it feels worth it already, and the world is huge and cinematic...so far it completely merits a recommendation.

I hadn't thought of buying the game. It sounded too edgy for me. I wasn't interested in a game that centers around the concept of bullying. But knowing your tastes in games, a reccomendation from you makes me reconsider. I might try it out eventually.
