Bully
Has anyone out there actually picked up this game and played it? I just bought it, but I haven't taken it out of its shrinkwrap yet and I'm wondering if I should, because, you know, I'm stupid that way. :3
Anyway...heard a lot of things about this title. Anyone have thoughts to share? Does it live up to all the hype?

I haven't bought it yet, but this point I've been prettymuch convinced that it's going to be a worthwhile experience. I love a well-written dark comedy.

I'm a few hours into the game, and its pretty interesting. The dialogue is hilarious, and it makes fun of pretty much every aspect of high school you can think of. I wouldn't characterize Jimmy as a bully though--he's more of a regular guy forced into a situation where he has to defend himself (i.e. his mother marries an old rich guy and leaves him in the boarding-school-from-hell so she can go on a year-long honeymoon). After about ten minutes I already really liked his character. Well, still in the prologue so I don't have a very clear impression of the game yet, but it feels worth it already, and the world is huge and cinematic...so far it completely merits a recommendation.

I heard the politicians absolutely adore this game.
Bully sure seems promising. Haven't played it yet, but all reviews seem to be very positive. They say it's about 40 hours of gameplay, without all the extra's. Sounds good!
I would play it... but i dont play PS2 games much anymore...
I'd almost buy it just to laugh in the face of Jack Thompson! XD
I'm hearing from a lot of people, that its a good game, and that you'll laugh all the way through playing it. XD

Rockstar wasn't responsible for the controversy on this one. It was all the politicians and lawyers who jumped to the conclusion that it was some kind of Columbine simulator. The game itself is actually pretty innocuous.
