I'm so mad
I go on chat quite often and then I get told to download mIRC for the things I wanted to do. So I download it but i can't use it, what a surprise, nobody is willing to help and they kick me about a million times. What's the point. I hope they read this because I hate them all except a few of the good ones that go there. Anyway, I'd better turn this into a thread. Anybody get really mad at certain people or things? :@

People on mIRC are generally real jerks with no patience. Which isn't to say you shouldn't try learning on your own before wasting someone's time trying to get help. That's why God invented Google.

Some people can be nice on mIRC, but some people on there are arrogant jerks that let their interpower get to their head. Pay them no mind.
mIRC isn't so bad. Try using irssi.

As I stated, I had very little to do with that incident, and as it was a joke, I didnt attempt to stop it. I apologise for this.
Anyway, yes, I do get really annoyed with things, such as idiocy and noobs causing trouble, and I usually have no tolerance for it and stop the arguements before they escalate. Thats why I have & status in that IRC channel.

I recommend not going into #party or other rooms not under the watchful care of people that have to be responsible for their online actions
I love IRC; I've been using it for five years now, and the best way to not be kicked from places is by not being a douche or irritating. You can get away with that stuff on forums because it's a lot slower paced, but when you have someone in a channel flooding it up, it's a lot easier to lose your patience xD
If you would like to learn how to use the program mIRC better, there is a bunch of literature on their site, at www.mirc.com. Not only can you learn the basics of using the program and the IRC service, but you can learn how to make scripts and stuff, which can be really fun when you're new to them
