Default Help Finding FFXI for PS2

    Hey guys,

I have been playing FFXI for a while now (well about a year) on my PC from home. However, out at school my bandwith is terrible and I'm thinking I should just switch over to PS2 to play some.

Problem is, I can't seem to find the game in any stores or anything (at least not the first one). I have browsed around on eBay a bit, finding some here and there.

Does anyone have any other suggestions of where I can look for FFXI for PS2?

    Thanks!

It's not being sold anymore, seeing as Sony screwed S-E over by ceasing production of the PS2 model that supported the hard drive. Your options are PC or XB360 now.

Switching versions wouldn't solve a bandwidth problem anyway, would it?

Well our PS2 gaming server is different from the PC server. My roommate last year had it on PS2 and it worked fine.

Yeah, so far the only PS2 FFXI I can find is on eBay. I really don't want to drop the money for an XBox 360 for one game...

The graphics will also be 10x better, which, in my opinion, is nearly a must in FFXI.

Every Sears location's electronic department that I've seen seems to have a stockpile of them for $99 USD.

    PC > Xbox360 > PS2

I heard the water doesn't even move on the PS2!

It's from a fake interview with Ken. The PS3 is portrayed as a PS1 covered in aluminium foil and taped-on accessories. It gets internet from OUTARSPACE!

    Mirage.

what about a PS3 ? i think that you can play ps2 games on it and it goes online ... or i may be smokin' crack >.<

Also, i'd rather play on laptop because you can take it with you ^.^

Either way, i don't know what you're talkin' about Frostmaster ... play games at school ?
Chuck Noblet: Can anyone tell me the tragic irony of the Trojan War? Tina? Tina: Um, that horses are friendly creatures yet a hollow, wooden one was used to destroy Troy? Chuck Noblet: Wrong and no. Anyone else? Chip? Chip: That the mighty warrior Achilles was killed by a small cut to his ankle. Chuck Noblet: Chip is wronger. OK, here it is. The tragic irony of the Trojan War is that though it was fought over Helen, who was young and beautiful, by the time they rescued her ten years later, she was old and ugly. Tina: But wasn't recovering the king's wife reward enough for the Greeks? Chuck Noblet: Tina, an ugly woman is never a reward.
