Um... kinda confused

I just decided to check out LJ. BUT, when I go into edit my profile, it won't let me use < link="(whatever color)" >, < align="(whatever alignment)" >, and so on. I went to "Custom options" under "Edit journal style" and activated everything I could think of.

Could someone help me here?

I know, I meant link colors.

You can't really set link colors in your profile, because you can't set a style sheet for your profile page and pseudo classes such as a:link etc don't work in inline styles!

As far as I know anyways. Besides, if you could do that, all the rabid fangirls' profiles would be full of it!
