I've just got a fantastic idea for a movie. It'll take place on the bottom of the ocean with merpeople and be an epic conflict between an evil empire ruling over the ocean with a small band of rebels formed together to put a stop to their tyranny.

Fish, actually, are more important then squids. Contrary to popular belief, squids do not contribute to the world's ink supply.
Aren't squids like the most important animal on Earth?
A while back someone told me that squids create ink. I doubt it, but can someone verify whether or not that's true?
