Owl's tear

You're supposed to be able to get this from "an old man" in Timber...I haven't found yet...anybody know how???

It's not an item. In the house near the train station you can drink from the sink to restore HP. Maybe the sink is filled with the tears of an owl?

I've had "trouble" with this as well, I've heard it's at the house by the station, with the guy saying "Do you like beverages? Feel free to drink from the tap." or something similar, but I've never managed to do so. Not that it's a big problem, but anyway.

You can no longer drink from the tap if you've taken the money from the cupboard.

Oh...I drank from the sink but didn't know that's what that was....and I didn't know there is money in the cupboard....

if you keep on tslking to him then continue looking in the cupboard you get 500gil but it probably lowers your SeeD rank in some way.

I got the Owl'w tear the first time through and went back before leaving Timber and pilfered the money....I love the comments they make when you're opening the cupboards....LOLz

I never knew where the Owl's Tear was until I read it in the strategy guide. Apparently it says the money in the closet is the old man's life savings. :rolleyes2 :riiight:
