Looking for FFVI Amano Drawings
I'm not sure if this should be here or in another forum but since it does pertain exclusevly(sp?) to FFVI I placed it here. Anyway, I was wondering if Amano ever made sketches of Clyde(Shadow's true Identity), Rachel, or Celes in her opera gown. I've seen quite a few drawings from the series but I've always been curious to know if he ever released or even made sketches of these characters?

I haven't seen any, no. If they exist, they're probably contained in The Sky, but good luck tracking down a copy.

Too bad I didn't think about this when I was at my anime convention. Half the dealers never realize how expensive some books are. I got one of the Amano books pretty cheap there.

In the "Japan" Amano artbook, which has stuff from Final Fantasy V and VI, there's nothing like what you're asking. I'd die to get my hands on a copy of "The Sky", but it's horribly expensive, too much for my poor pockets. Good luck...

I remember seeing some of the FF VI art in an old issue of Nintendo Power. The rest of it is new to me though. Terra in esper form looks pretty kickass
