Of course, Garden, SeeD, Eden. Yes Eden would be female. Or atleast have feminine traits, have you never heard of Mother Nature? Mother nature would be the garden, SeeD's her children. Eden is merely a representation of that fact.

my three fav GF's are: Ifrit (awesome old school) Diablos (Neferious, evil and cool plus he's the one of the few GF's you have to fight to get)
and Bahamut (Nothing is cooler than a massively powerful badass black dragon! )

Although, a GF is only as good as you make them. It can be as crappy or as good as you train them to be. you just have to put in a bit of effort. They're all as good as each other really.

Summonable:
Bahamut, Shiva, Ifrit - the way they make their appearances in the game is one of the best i've seen among the series. i also like to use Cerberus.

Non-Summonable:
Griever. of course, i can get Quistis to use his Shockwave Pulsar, which is often more powerful than when he uses it.

For me it's Cactaur and Diablos. I love how the Cactaur jumps up and sprays the enemies with needles and Diablos has Enc-None and I like his summon animation. I love the sound it makes when the big ball of blackness squishes the enemies. If you've got a good sound system hooked up to your PS2, it sounds great.
