    Default Post a you-tube video of your favourite band(s).

    I just had the best idea for a new Lounge thread! I'm pretty sure this hasn't been done yet. Share your musical tastes with us by posting a couple of videos of your favourite band, or, if you have several favourite bands, post a video or two for each. It can be a live performance, a music video, or even a studio song with added visuals.

    This is easy. Just go to Youtube, seach your favourite band, and pick the video that best represents the band or artist overall. If another site than youtube hosts the video you want to post, fine.

    OOC: Keep in mind that you MUST post according to the forum rules. Do not post any music video that you feel may not comply with the rules, either in lyrics, visuals, etc. This shouldn't be a problem with music, but make sure you keep it in mind.


    Here are mine:

    -Emerson, Lake and Palmer: Knife Edge

    -Frank Zappa: Pound for a Brown (with a full orchestra!)

    -Frank Zappa: King Kong (with almost all of the orginal Mothers of Invention)

    -Pink Floyd: Full Live Aid performance

    This is definately my favourite video. And my favourite band. Their live show is unmatched by any band I've ever seen, and still they remain underground, which I think is a good thing. It's so energetic and spontanious, it's unmatched. Unmatched I say! Too bad I only got to see them once, they should visit Europe again.
