I just picked up my copy of the game at GameStop, but I passed on the strategy guide. It looked great and sure was huge, but I can't believe you guys would pay 30 bucks for it. That's half the price of the game itself.

I already had my CE game reserved and fully paid for so when I went to pick it up today with the strategy guide, they gave me $10 off the guide and made it like a FFXII Collector's Edition package. Sweet deal.

Who would pay $30 for a strategy guide when you can go on gamefaqs.com and get the same thing for free? I don't like strategy guides, sure they may have pretty pictures and nice maps, but gamefaqs is ABOUT as good, usually with these people with no lives who like to write walkthroughs all day long and do nothing else. Just wasting away....

Anyone with a brain knows these things are worth alot of money in the future, you can easily make triple profit on the book alone, not to mention this is a unique one, which comes with an art book, and a carrying type case.

I bet if you bought the book and the game and never opened them, put them somewhere safe, and sold them on ebay 2 years later, you'd make atleast $200.00 USD.

haha I was walking to class yesterday after I got my guide and this topic popped into my mind and I thought about how everyone from here that wasn't happy with their covers should just switch somehow.

I got the Basch one that I wanted, total luck there. I just picked up the first one I saw and Bam! I got my boy, Basch.
