as a tip from a former CO veteran -

Ask poilitely for a power level over in Bird Island, go to about 50 or 60.
and then, grind at about the end of Love Canyon (I think!... im not sure) scattering mobs gives an uber amount of exp though...

if you dont want to be plvled and experience all of CO (probably the better way...) make Phoenix (City?) your next stop for grinding. use the Bandit 99s to up your weapon/skill levels.
