Actually, Kingdom Hearts is being rereleased for the PSP.

It's called Kingdom Hearts: Awakening.

There are a bunch of new features such as:

When you're on Destiny Island at the start you get to play as Riku.
You get to play his Awakening, during which he give's into the darkness resulting in Sora becoming the new Keyblader. You also get to play as him on Destiny Island, and collect his items and fight Wakka, Tidus, Selphie and Sora.

There will be new Keyblades and equipment.

A cutscene showing Roxas and Namine coming into existence when Sora becomes a Heartless is shown.

More super bosses, including Hojo and some other "secret" ones.

And more which has yet to be announced.

It's looking to come out in April in Japan.
