    Right so, in utter boredom and need up a diversion I plan to buy a DS and several games tomorrow evening, and suggestions, preferabbly an RPG or action/adventure game, with decently long play time, or lots of replay value.

    MarioKart DS is a must, Metroid Prime Hunters is a good shooter.

    As for RPG's I'm hearing great things about Children of Mana and a game I got yesterday The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning seems to be a good adventure game.

    Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and New Super Mario Bros.

    New Super Mario Bros. has lots of replay value. There aren't many good RPGs for DS yet. FF III comes out in a couple of weeks.

    FFXI isn't on DS. -_-;

    I say get Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, and FF3 when it comes out. Is the Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on DS yet? If so get that perhaps!

    Zelda isn't out yet, but right now for DS RPGs there is Magical Starsign and Children of Mana.

    As many others have said, New Super Mario Bros is a must for any self-respecting DS owner. Hang onto your cash and buy Final Fantasy III on the launch day, too - you won't be disappointed.

    Enjoy yourself.

    Cant recommend any RPG's, but Bleach DS is worth your time.

    I totally looked over this post earlier.

    Bleach DS gets a thumb-up from me, while you're at it get Osu Tatakae Ouendan as well (since both are imports). Then get Elite Beat Agents next week.

    Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is probably the best all-around action/adventure on the system right now. Mega Man ZX is cool, and New Super Mario is classic. I'm gonna pick up 'Mario vs Donkey Kong: march of the minis' today if my slow store doesn't have FFXII.
