whats the most expensive lowbie equipment you have seen :]? (in range from about 1 to 25)

I saw a level 8 Tunic (ya know... the black one) selling for 8k.

    I gasped D:

    and then whined to Mirage.

I usually use +1 gear for lvl 1-20 ish ... its about that expensive per item. well i'd say lvl 1 ranges about 1-5k depending and so on.
Chuck Noblet: Can anyone tell me the tragic irony of the Trojan War? Tina? Tina: Um, that horses are friendly creatures yet a hollow, wooden one was used to destroy Troy? Chuck Noblet: Wrong and no. Anyone else? Chip? Chip: That the mighty warrior Achilles was killed by a small cut to his ankle. Chuck Noblet: Chip is wronger. OK, here it is. The tragic irony of the Trojan War is that though it was fought over Helen, who was young and beautiful, by the time they rescued her ten years later, she was old and ugly. Tina: But wasn't recovering the king's wife reward enough for the Greeks? Chuck Noblet: Tina, an ugly woman is never a reward.

Your items sell for more too, stop complaining :(. Besides, low level gear can be NPCed.

8k is not a lot for 1-25 equipment. Take a look at Astral rings (level 10) those go for almost a million on Pandy and they used to go for more, the AH has come down a great deal in the past few months. I think a year ago all the servers had the worst inflation ever. But it's steadily been coming down I think. Even the more common stuff like zealot mitts (level 11) go for around 30k.

But like mirage already said, if the items sell for more, that also means people will buy crystals and other drops for more too.

Inflation only hurts those who have large amounts of cash that they never use. And yeah, prices dropped after they flushed millions of gils from gilsellers and botters and such.

Astrals go for about the same on Fairy too :p, but no one expects you to have Astral rings in the dunes.

the think I do love however, is exploiting those prices.

I made 4k from 12 earth crystals not to be poked at to much.
