I am early on in the game and my characters are starting to gain more licence points. Since they all start out the same I'm not sure how I should customize them. I was thinking about this:

Ashe - mage (black/white)
Vaan - speed (with lighter weapons)
Basch - "hard hitter"
Penelo - mage (supportive)
Balthier - again a "hard hitter" focusing on physical strength
Fran - Long range (bows)

I will teach them all a little white magic.

How did you customize your characters? and is there anything i should do differently?
