I just managed to kill 122 of the same monster in a row over at the Sandsea. It was awesome, the entire chain lasted about 50 min and once you get to about 30 you start to get some good items.

I got 177 in Lhusu and finally left because I had 99 Bone Fragments meaning there wasn't much more point staying.
I got something around 100 in the Ogir-Yensa Sandsea, and close behind that was 90-something in the (SPOILER)Leviathan.
At Ogir-Yensa I had 137, and at Lhusu, after beating the Rocktoise hunt, I had a 110. These are great for selling for gil etc.
Like twenty. xD I haven't tried getting a big chain yet. But I'll probably try with these Skeletons in the mines because they're giving out great exp.
189 killing Skeletons and Skull Defenders at Lhusu. That's about how much it took me to get 99 Bone Fragments (and 72 Dark Stones on the side).
My new best chain was 192 in the Lhusu Mines, I got an Iron Helm for everyone in the party, 99 Bone Fragments, 70 something Dark Stones, and some antidotes.
I think I got about 149 with the Skeletons. I got two Iron Helms (), 89 Bone Fragments, and around 40 or so Dark Stones.
But it was so worth it for the cash!
Ah man I'm slacking, I just hit whoever's in range so my high so far has been 47. I should ahve kept going to get at least 50, but apparently once you save...the chain breaks. Damn.

The general consensus is that we all just just spent two+ hours mobbing a bunch of skeletons for rare drops.
This is the definition of an offline MMO and I LOVE it.
I did 102 chain when I got x99 bone fragments.
