I guess so. But if I worked for Square, I'd buy the idea off the person developing it, and then pick up where they left off. To have a game partially done for you is nice because they could pay the guy way less than it would've costed them to do that portion of the game themselves.
The work that took the Chrono Resurrection years to complete would take Squeenix a month or two at most to recreate with their advanced game development software and staff.
Plus, if Squeenix paid them for the bit they did it encourages others to persue copyright infringement in hopes that they will have their project bought out as well.
Today's Sesame Street is brought to you by the letter S, the letter U and the letter E.
There is no signature here. Move along.
I dont believe in this...
And wow... that Terra sucks xD... how ugly...!
Anyway... I hope if someday there is a 3d version of ff6, this one have to be great... and i think this have to be on a home console, and not a portable one... you'd enjoy it better that way...
Kuja, Please, Rest In Peace...
Dissidia Killed You
Yeah... the whole game...
Ahh memories. I actually have a 3 clips of FF VI from the nintendo 64. It used the SNES music, and had an interisting battle system. Also, this was the birth of long, long summons XD.
It wasn't intended to specifically represent the N64, really.
Oh dear.
Terra went claymation-ish.![]()
Read the posts. That is only a preliminary model which hasn't had texturing applied to it yet.
Don't tell me what to do.
Even as a model, it's still going to have a large head, big eyes and a small body, which happen to be a signature of claymation. Model's 99% of the time don't change form, in which if it is a model, all you would get would be the shine to the hair, maybe some obvious standing, flower pattern to the close and shading and lighting to the face.. that... really large face.![]()
Or, you know, anime: being the style that the vast majority of FF games have been based off since FFVII. Adding texture and transparency will, at the very least, remove the 'clay' look the hair has at the moment. After that, I can't imagine anyone will be able to draw paralleled between the character model and 'clay-animation'.Originally Posted by Avarice-ness
