So I just broke out on the Leviathan. My main party is level 16 at this time and have the best equipment I could afford. I think I'll be okay? Maybe? Need to get a couple more Quickenings though, and get the hang of using them. Basch + Fulminating Darkness = pwnd Cluckitrice.
MILF, you'll have no trouble. My characters were 14, and I had no trouble at all. Of course, I had quickenings on all 3 characters (used Vaan, Basche, and Fran).

(SPOILER)Balthier is lvl 9.
(SPOILER)Fran is lvl 10.
(SPOILER)Basch is lvl 11.
(SPOILER)Vossler is lvl 14.
Some more tips would be helpful. I seem to keep dieing at the part where the security system is (only one character usually). then I'm wiped out in that area where you go around and there are like 8 guards at once.
I'm going to bump this, because I DO need help.
Sorry, but I just don't remember enough to give specific advice. Do you have a nearby save from off the Leviathan? It might be easiest to just level up some more.
I only have one save. D: Maybe I should figure out how them quickenings work...

Yes, quickenings can be very helpful, especially early on in the game.
First chance I get, and I'm beating the smurf out of that T-Rex in the first town.
Right then. I got three people with quickenings, chained 5 on the boss, and he died. Just. Like. That.

But...Then I took on the Cluckatrice and her Babies and even after 2 5-chains and 3 1 chains, she was still kickin'. I swear, just throw her at the final boss and that'd be game.
