Also it should be noted that in addition to just regular warnings, when things escalate to the point where someone might be banned for their actions, we let them know this. We inform members if they are on "Final Warning" status and it's explained to them that either they knock it off, or they will be banned.
So anyone who chooses to keep doing bad stuff even after being issued a final warning is just asking for it.

It just so happens that lately people who I consider bad or annoying members of the community have been banned unusually frequently. BoB is neither.

There are a lot more people here these days, and this board has become a lot more mainstream. This lets a lot more rulebreakers find the site, and leads to more bannings.
