I can't really speak for the staff of this particular forum, but the other places I have been a staff member at kept it quiet for reasons of privacy. It is a dealing between a member and the staff. Outside parties do not need to be concerned with it. If a member wishes to know why a person was banned, they can contact the banned person and ask them.Originally Posted by Anaisa
I don't see why. Just because we're not in charge of banning people doesn't mean we shouldn't know why they were banned. Not that I really care whether I know or not. I just don't see the point in keeping it quiet.
