Uematsu creates scores that are worlds more melodic and immediately memorable than Sakimoto's tunes, however, that doesn't really mean he's a better composer, or that his works are greater.
I completely disagree. The better the harmonies and the better the melodies, the better the music in my opinion. But, perhaps I'm old fashioned when it comes to music. (like 300 years old fashioned)
