A little Yahoo help?

Sometime between Sunday night and Monday afternoon, my password for Yahoo decided not to work anymore. I've tried e-mailing Yahoo to see if they can reset it or something, but all they've given me is the run-around: Give us your account info and validate the secret code (whatever the hell that means) and give us your screen name and we'll do it. Then, the problem becomes that the info I give them doesn't match the info they have... so what the hell's up with that.

I'm about ready to punch myself here, so someone help me with this.

Your account might have been hacked.

I had a couple of friends that have had their Yahoo accounts hacked. They messeged me on Yahoo messenger with either a porn link or a url that ended in "my_b.day_pics". Once I told them about it they did some virus scans and one had viruses while the other had their account hacked.

Neither of them are online at the moment, but when they get on I can ask them what they did and see if it might be of some help to you.
