Who cares if the game isn't out yet, I'd buy one. I mean, come on, this is Final Fantasy we're talking about. We know it's gonna be awesome.
It's only a Prototype of the figure. We probably won't seeing it released till Summer of 07

Even releasing it in 07 might be too early I'm betting the game won't be released until 09.

I think it will be out before then...I can't see Square fouling up the development of another FF game like they did with XII.
(please note: the above comment is not a complaint about the quality of FFXII, but rather a statement of fact about the notorious problems which delayed its release.)
action figures for xii already..wow. im hyped. i hope xiii comes out sooner that it took them to release xii. it felt like forever. prolly will happen again though. nuff time for me to buy a ps3.
