    Default Sandstorms...

    Hey all I just have a quick question. Im trying to kill a mark in the West sands and he only appears when theres a sandstorm which I have only seen happen once. My question is how do I make a sandstorm happen? I've tried to zone back and forth but it dosnt work. Thanks for any help

    I have no idea ......... I've seen it happen twice .......... same goes for the Gil Snaper which will only appear when its raining hard in Giza.

    If you've killed Earth Tyrant, I don't think sandstorms will appear in the Westersands for a long time.

    You didn't happen to snatch up a guide with XII, did ya?

    I've seen only one sandstorm but it prevented me from progressing through the area (the computer wouldn't let me go any further).

    Have you tried just waiting around?

    I think a sandstorm starts if you walk up to the Wyrm's Nest in the northeastern part of the Westersand.
