    Why would you cast Life2 on something that's already alive?

    If Zeromus had been undead, Life2 might have killed him. However, that's only a "might have". AFAIK, there are undead bosses in the FF series that can be hurt with healing spells, but they're immune to Life spells and Phoenix Downs.

    Memory suggests that FF8 had one, possibly two bosses that were undead and able to be insta-KOed by life/phoenix down. The second wasn't much of a boss.. though.

    But memory has been wrong before.

    I'd laugh if he was undead.

    As most undeads can be "kiiled" in RPGs by being given the Full Cure attacks (Or whatever).

    There for you can kill them in one hit - a bit pathetic for the final boss.

    Undead enemies in FFIV can't be killed by Life Spells/Phoenix Downs because they alway ends up missing undead enemies.
