yeah apparently so -- he definitely stops calling in reinforcements. However I don't know how much to trust to the magicks/technicks distinction, because even when silenced the king bomb will continue to use elemental attacks. At the time I just tried it because it seemed logical -- glad that for once my instinct was correct. Not having to continuously defeat those little bombs gave me just enough edge to beat the thing...
