He is one of the reasons why FFIV blows all the other FFs out of the water, hands down, no questions asked!! The only thing that is annoying about him is when you fight him the first time and if you try to summon Shiva to rock all over his world, he will close his cape. And then she heals him!! What a bad Ice Goddess...
If I were a Final Fantasy Boss, I would be named something cool like Super-Ultra-Foxtrot-Omega Weapon or something cool like that...
He may heal you, sure, and he's a pretty nice guy, but I don't like him for one reason:
I CAN'T BEAT HIM!
I've never been able to get past him, and I have training my characters up. That's why I gave up playing ff4. Yes, I'm a quitter. No, I don't care.

I like Rubicant a lot... yes... he is a gentleman and he fight with honor!... he cures u before battle just for a righteous battle...

You took the words right out of my mouth. Rubicant is an enemy who has class.
I like Rubicant just fine. He's not very fiendish, but he's certainly a bad guy. He is on the bad guy's team.
On top of healing you, he also pisses Edge off to the point where he learns a couple of spells, which I take to be his way of helping out.
Yeah... maybe that's the word i was searching for... "class" ...
From his way of acting to his physical appearance he has the highest class i've seen on enemies... (maybe is more educated than ur own party xD)...

I always expected him to moon the party or something. I mean, come on, he looks like he's naked under that cloak! xD
But yah, he's a great character.
I don't care for the character much, but having him heal me before the four fiends battle rocked (I bet the other fiends were like "WTF! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!?!?!?")
Oh my gawd. Rubicante, along with Ultros, are my favourite FF villains ever. Well, there are others..
