Loot (spoilers)

Ok, now, besides the Great Serpentskin, is there any loot that you shouldn't sell? You need to sell some rare loot in order to get the better items, but if there's any other important quest later in the game, I'd rather not sell something. So, for anyone who knows anything about the later quests, is there any loot we should hang on to?

Aside from the Great Serpentskin, Gysahl Greens and Teleport Stones I don't think there is any loot that you should keep for any reason. Everything else should be sold to the vendors for the Bazaar package requirements.

The only exception would be story/area related items like the "Black Orbs" ('sup Rod).

what about the bundle of needles? do you need that or can you jus sell it?? An i ave the great serpent skin an thaknfully i havent sold it, but what happens if you did sell it by mistake??

You just don't get the best reward for a small quest, which isn't that great anyway. Or maybe you can't complete it, but it's no big deal.

I've completed the patient in the deseert side quest, and the lady never asked for the Great Serpent Skin to heal the guy. I still have it in my loot section. I have no idea what happened here. The only thing the Great Serpent Skin supposedly got you was the Barheim Key, but the dude gave it to me anyway. So I have the Great SerpentSkin, and the Key in my possession. Somehow I lucked out. I'm still not selling the skin though.

The skin is not required to get the key, just so people keep that in mind when they are deciding to zap their save file and start over.

Avoid selling Teleport Stones, Gysahl Greens, Black Orbs, Pine Chops/Sandalwood Chop (You can't sell it anyway ), Jaya Stick, that Bangaa Treasure (At the beginning of the game) and Pebbles (So you can have your Vaan..........j/k)

Nah, you can just sell it, you can still obtain it from the Chimeras but it's very rare.
