I never did this sidequest, but all I know is that you need Boco to do it and his ability to walk on water.

You have to use Boko to walk all the way around the world starting at Mirage, and going all the way back. And make a pit stop at the top of Istory Falls for a little something else.
I also heard that he'll disappear if you enter the final dungeon, so you have to do this side-event before entering the final dungeon.
At least I think. My memory's hazy on that one.

All you get is a Mirage Vest, if I'm not mistaken...if you even get anything that good.
