Making 16,000 dollars in an hour doesn't mean you make $16,000 an hour. That whole day, or even week he's not likely to make a significant amount more than that.

He's 20 and he has $3600 to spend on PS3s. I think he's doing ok.

I am LOOKING FORWARD to getting a PS3 when it comes out in the UK. I couldn't give a flying smurf what you anti-PS3 people think. I can't be bothered trying to compete with the fan-people, or shell out hundreds of dollars on a PS3 when there are still plenty of good games for PS2 I haven't played yet. (XII hasn't even come out yet internationally) I can afford to wait a few years, until PS3's are relatively cheap. Bargains ftw.
