Sonic battle on GBA

ok i realise that ths game is far from new but i have a quick question which i can't find the answer too anywhere.

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS!

in emerls air power section there are a lot of extra slots underneath everyone's abilities. i presumed these would be like the combo attack in the ground power section but i can't find any information about them anywhere?

anybody now what they are? more info? how to obtain them?

btw, ive check gamefaqs and found that the techniques are called . . . wait for it . . . ???. that rite the techniques are called ??? and it doesn't say how to obtain them other than hacking and using codes.

anyone else know anything!?

aw i remember that game, I went nuts when I first got it. I was able to get far enough into tail's challenge that you had to fight the 3 comp enemies with 20 lives and you only had 1...good times, good times

as for your problem, I have no idea. It's been too long for me to for to remember almost anything.

yeh ur thinkin of virtual training for the ultimate techniques, but the enemies lives stop increasing at 15 battles, u just hav to fight 20 while not losing one life

yep but you can keep going after 20, its just 20 each round, but the never ending 20 rounds started to drive me nuts.

i dint think that happend? i thought u fought 20 battles and got a skill. ive never actaully done more than 15! getting killed with a cheap uber skill at like lvl 13 is annoying as hell

again its been awhile...but if memory servers you got a skills every 5 levels, even after 20.

anyone else tempted to pick this game up agen after this thread also noticed that in the extra slots in air power there isn't enough for every character to have one ^o) curious? . . .
