One question: To successfully send the initial Mognet mail message, do both you and the friend have to be online with Wi-Fi at the same time (e.g. both people being at a Wi-Fi hotspot). Should I also designate when I can be at such locations?

I'll add you mookie5381 today. You have to send seven messages to others via Wi-Fi in order to do some of the side quests.

Yes that is correct, the seven messages can be all to one person, to seven different people or anything in between.

I have limited availability times when I can get to a Wi-Fi Hotspot. They are as follows:

7:00-8:00 AM and 10:00-11:00 AM Pacific Time (Mondays & Wednesdays)

If you're trying to send stuff to me, try during those times.

I know you can use the Nintendo USB Connector to set up a Wi-Fi connection with the DS, but will it work with a dial-up connection to the Internet?
