At the people who are getting different Friend Codes each time they check it may have something to do with people having dynamic IP addresses. Each time you connect you will get a different IP address rather than a fixed one.

How useless is Nintendo right....I have tried troubleshooting the problem where when people add some from another country they can't.
For example if you live in England you cannot add someone from America and etc. This maybe because the servers are not located to a central hub as it were.
Hope this solves peoples problems.
OK, the friend codes are now split into US and European.
I am going to assume that everybody who posted from May 9th onwards is European, and anybody before then is American. If I am incorrect, then please post in this thread and let me know.

It depends on where you get the game and the region that game is from.
