I think what was interesting about Daniel Craig's performance as James Bond is it was kind of like a cross between Sean Connery's performance and Timothy Dalton's performance.
Because when the bartender asked James if he wanted his martini shaken or stirred 007 glared at him and said "Do I look like I give a damn!?" But when Bond was being tortured by that guy who weeps blood 007 said "I have an itch...to the right...to the left...(laughs) you just scratched my balls!" "You're a funny man Mr. Bond."
