Quina is an 'it'. But when I'm talking about him, I usually use words like 'him', 'his' and 'he'. He just seems like more of a guy to me.
No it doesn't. That's one of the arguments for it being male.
I'm of the view that Quina is a it, since there's nothing to proove conclusivly that it is male or female.

The first time you visit South Gate when heading to Gizzy Grotto, Freya says "I should be more like him, carefree..." or something along those lines. However, in Condie Petie s/he marries Vivi, so unless they were gay, Quina'd have to be a girl, so it makes no real sense. I always referred to him/her as 'him' simply because it's easier to say than 'her', lol.

...Some people say protect girls works and some say it doesnt, protect girls never worked for me with ANY character, so I just checked it as useless ability and never used it again... but she cant use female only equipment such as pearl rouge, barette, etc... So I would think shes NOT female.. but the name really suggests she is... which is why I say "she" and not "he" ugh..
