Well look at it this way, Dragon Quest contains a playable demo of FF12, there may yet be hope for you.

Ok... here's a sum of the games
Okage- Funny as heck, but generic in battle system.
DQ8- Addictive, even if you prefer FF.
Wild Arms 3- WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?
